Return Policy
Returns & Exchanges
Because our products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, ordering the wrong size, changing your mind, or no longer wanting the item. Printify recommends that merchants align their store policy with this made-to-order model.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and include your order number plus clear photo proof of the issue. Printify states that these cases may qualify for a free reprint or refund when reported within that window.
Do I need to return the damaged item?
In most damaged or defective-item cases, no return is required. Printify says there is generally no need to return the damaged product when submitting a claim for a manufacturing issue or damage.
Exchanges
Because items are produced specifically for each order, we usually cannot offer exchanges for incorrect size selection or preference-based changes. If there is a production error or fulfillment mistake, contact us and we will review the issue and help determine the best resolution. Printify’s guidance for made-to-order stores is to keep policies closely aligned with its own return rules.
Refunds
Approved refunds are handled after the issue is reviewed. Shopify supports creating and managing returns and refunds directly in the admin, and refunds can be issued in full or in part depending on the situation.

- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photos showing the problem
Printify’s issue workflow also requires photo proof for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
Order cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Because products move into production quickly, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request can be completed once fulfillment has started. This is a reasonable store-policy choice for print-on-demand orders, and Shopify lets you publish your own written return and refund policy in your store admin.
